I Form

Sometimes I wonder if words will jump at me from a dictionary,

and form themselves into a semblance of poem.

But alas!

They sit silently, mocking as the wind whistles a frenzy

And I sit with a cold cup of coffee,

an intermittent viciousness against the window

Which leaves me to ponder,

If I gave you no meaning, what would you be really?

  1. I Like
    the power
    of
    the Inside and
    Outside
    of your words…

    Heidegger;
    hiding
    in his Hut,
    like you
    looking in
    looking out
    would say…
    “there is no meaning…
    it just is!”

    1. Not sure that’s what I had in mind, but I’ll take it! 😉 I hate it when you want to write and all that you do, is disjointed. Lol, thank you for your comments and following. I look forward to reading more of your work as well.

  2. Love the witty words in the Poem, I really enjoyed reading. Looking forward to catching up with your poems.
Thank you for visiting my Blog. Nice to know about your Poetry.

  3. This is amusing and so true sometimes. Oh how many times I’ve sat with not-drunken cups of coffee pondering the next word…and they don’t always come do they!! 🙂

    1. Absolutely, I’m having a ‘months-long-cold-coffees-galore-no-poems-at-all’ time at the moment hah. Amusing but not. XD Thanks for commenting & reading! I look forward to reading more of your work.
