I Surrender

I am lost in this haze
-y world that drifts by

The sands fall fast and faster,
As though pulled by the yearning of what is to come.

I am lost in a haze,
Of this rhythm of surrender,
And just as the dead earth is brought to life again
After it cries out for water,

I surrender.
